Spent the weekend – or part of it anyway – in bed with Sue Bryce. Sue is the current AIPP national Portrait Photographer of the Year and she spoke at the Tasmanian AIPP Freycinet Conference along with acclaimed commercial photographer and chair of the AIPP’s commercial group Ian McKenzie. Both speakers brought a wealth of knowledge to the weekend, which Anjie and I attended alongside many of Tasmania’s most well regarded professional photographers.
Happily, I was also able to break out the new macro lens over the weekend. It’s a great lens and a welcome addition to the armament of equipment we’ve got at hand. A couple of test shots below.
