The business was started by Bret at the end of 2008 when he left The Examiner newspaper to work for himself. The business has grown rapidly since then, allowing Bret to employ two other staff members and to provide a more diverse range of services and products.
Based in Launceston, and servicing primarily Launceston, the Tamar Valley, and the North and North-West of Tasmania, we offer a range of photography and communications services from our fully-equipped studio at 40 Tamar St, Launceston. We moved into the new studio in May 2011, giving us standing sets and more space to provide a wider range of services more efficiently.
Although the studio space is important to our operations the key to what we do is our staff. Dedicated, friendly and professional all of our staff members have experience in service sectors such as retail and hospitality and it is this experience that underscores our understanding that the provision of superior customer service is a core component of our success. As such, when you book us to do something you can rest assured it will get done; on time and on budget.
Visit our Facebook page to see more of our work.
We’re proud sponsors of the Country Club Tasmania Cavaliers Netball Club. We’re going to spend 2012 documenting the club’s successes on and off the court and working with it on some fantastic communications strategies that reflect its status as one of Tasmania’s most successful sports organisations.
Students and teachers, please be advised that we are happy to take work experience placements. We have a hands-on work experience program in place to cater for half-week or full-week placements. Contact Bret to discuss availability.
The photography industry is a particularly difficult industry to gain employment in. At present we have no vacancies, but should we be employing more staff in future any positions will be advertised in the print media and on this website. If you’re looking to photography as a career feel free to contact Bret to discuss the opportunities and pitfalls of a career as a photographer.
